We are all Earthlings – The Forgotten Children
In some places, children join the army before the age of 10 and are forced to kill.
In some places, children are forced to sell their bodies for a meal and a night.
In some places, children have no food to eat and have to pick up wheat crumbs from the ground.
It's hard to believe that this is a story that happens on the same earth, whether it is a natural disaster or a man-made disaster, it is always the child who bears the brunt.
Since the 80s, she has visited many countries around the world to observe the lives of children there, including war, famine, child soldiers, prostitution, genital circumcision, AIDS and other unbearable problems, and has been a UNICEF ambassador since 1998.
This book is a summary of her experience in visiting various places for decades, recording the stories of children who are strong and humane in the midst of tragedy, and the impact and insights brought to her by these observations.
There are still many children in the world who need our help, because we are all earthlings.
