Hong Kong-style buns are a specialized craft and not easy to make well and in good shapes. The author, Debbie, is a baking enthusiast who has been obsessed with researching the techniques for making these traditional foods for many years because of her love for them.
She has studied how to master the shapes and flavors of different Chinese pastries, what kind of wrap to pair with what filling, and how to use the same bag of flour to make buns with different textures, such as fluffy, crispy or soft and smooth.
