The book is divided into six parts: understanding, searching, fighting, researching, visiting, and appreciating. The first chapter, "Enlightenment - Design Theory", summarizes Xicheng's book design theory and experience. The second chapter, "Searching: British Book Art", records his experience of book art in United Kingdom. The third chapter, "War: Hong Kong Practice", is a practical discussion of his book design. Chapter 4, "Research: Japan Aesthetics," is a record of his visits to exhibitions, research on his favorite designers, and visits to bookstores. Chapter 5 "Interview: Group Portraits in Taipei" is an in-depth interview with a designer friend he admires. Chapter 6, "Appreciation: Appreciation of Works", is a small anthology of his works. The design formula he created B=(M×HR)t is a successful formula for the implementation of his concept, which is of great reference value to his peers.

This book hopes to broaden readers' imagination of the existing ideology of "books", and even ignite an extended thinking about the "beauty of books".
