Herbal tea, as a common functional drink in the Lingnan region, is regarded as having the effect of dispelling dampness and clearing heat to cope with the hot and humid climate in the Lingnan region. Herbal tea is based on local materials, mostly using local herbs, so its formula materials will increase or decrease according to the increase or decrease of regional resources, and all parties may be roughly the same but may not be completely consistent, which is unique. Through the efforts of the governments of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, herbal tea preparation was listed as one of the 518 national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council in 2006. This book "Herbal Tea in the Folk" explores the inheritance of herbal tea in individuals, ethnic groups and communities from different folk cases. This book first explains the regional characteristics represented by herbal tea, and explores the changes in the drinking habits of villages, communities and individuals in the past and present, so as to understand the social changes and challenges encountered in the process of inheritance of herbal tea.
